We support collective bargaining because it has improved working conditions for generations of nurses. We believe the best way to advance the nursing profession and serve the patients in our care is through good-faith negotiation that benefits all involved. Strikes can have lasting consequences on nurses, our families and patients, and should always remain the last resort when every reasonable effort to reach an agreement has been exhausted.
